It's always a good time to learn to skate!

Our Autumn Learn to Skate program is back and will be running from 14 March 2025! Come learn a new skill or brush up on your existing skills with CCRDU.

If the idea of learning to roller skate is daunting, never fear! Our experienced skaters will teach you to skate, stop, fall safely, do crossovers and other basic skills that will prepare you for your skating journey.

We know that roller skates and gear are expensive. Which is why we supply hire gear so that you can see if roller skating is for you without having to invest in your own gear until you know you want to commit! We can provide you with roller skates, helmet, elbow pads, wrist guards and knee pads for the duration of your program.

For $75, you will get five guaranteed Friday training sessions with a dedicated coach. These sessions run from 7pm to 9pm at Niagara Park Stadium, and each week you will build on the skills that you learnt in the previous week. If need to hire gear, there will be extra charge of $5 per session, which bring the total up to $100.

Learn all the officiating things!

Do you want to dip your toes into the world of officiating? Or are you stellar at some particular roles and want to expand your repertoire? Maybe you're an experienced referee and want to learn some off-skates roles?

CCRDU's officiating (plus extras) workshop is for everyone!

Classes will include both on and off-skates roles as well as how to lay a track, commentating and benching. Classes will be followed by scrimmage where attendees can try out some new roles in a supported setting.

CCRDU are also hosting a juniors game and adult potluck after the officiating workshop (EOIs TBA).

Class tickets will be available online very soon from our Payment Portal along with the finalised schedule. Be sure to buy online for the discounted price of $10 per class, and if you spend $50 you'll get your remaining classes free! Tickets on the day will also be subject to participant limits.
